Education & Teaching

Classes are held full-time in the buildings and laboratories of Gdynia Maritime University, utilizing the simulators of the Maritime Training Centre. The teaching staff consists primarily of Gdynia Maritime University faculty members.

There is no age limit or enrollment cap at the Gdynia Maritime Post-Secondary School.

Career & Practice

Education at the Gdynia Maritime Post-Secondary School is fee-based and lasts 2.5 years — three semesters of vocational subjects at school followed by one year of sea practice, during which students receive remuneration. Practice takes place aboard merchant vessels of reputable shipowners. Upon graduation and obtaining an officer diploma, graduates find employment with the world's leading shipowners.
