Training goal
Training objectives:
- Port maneuvers: mooring and unmooring. Turns in confined waters. Tug cooperation
- Current navigation (upstream and downstream). Mooring/unmooring in currents, turning in currents, negotiating bends
- Canal navigation: bank effect, slowing and stopping in canals
- Lock entry and exit
- Approaching SBM and FPSO
- Ship-ship interaction effects
- Meeting and overtaking maneuvers
- STS (ship-to-ship) underway
- STS maneuver when STBL is moored or anchored
