Training goal
The training aims to teach twin-screw vessel handling through:
- stopping maneuvers;
- transverse movement (crabbing): influence of propeller rotation direction and type;
- turning: pivot point selection via rudder and propeller settings;
- mooring and unmooring maneuvers;
- wind impact on vessel maneuverability.
