The course focuses on maneuvering large and very large container ships under various simulated conditions. It includes theoretical and practical simulator components.

• Stopping: inertial braking, emergency stop
• Steering at low speeds
• Selecting pivot point position through various steering device configurations
• Use of bow/stern thrusters
• Entering and exiting port basins
• Emergency maneuvers
• Anchoring large container ships

• VLCS 400 m, single screw
• VLCS 400 m, twin screw

Certificate issued by the training center, lifelong validity.
