The course covers the following areas:
- Naval Engineering: Piston engines, power plants, marine machinery, boilers, refrigeration, thermodynamics
- Electrical Engineering: Marine electronics, automation systems
- Maintenance: Repair technology, materials science, engineering graphics
- Ship Management: Safe operation, environmental protection

Certificate
Upon passing the exam, a Second Engineer Officer diploma compliant with STCW regulations is issued.
Training goal
The training aims to prepare candidates to obtain the Second Engineer Officer diploma for ships with main engine power of 3000 kW and above, in compliance with legal requirements and international standards.
Requirements
Wymagania wstępne
- Posiadanie dyplomu oficera mechanika wachtowego na statkach ≥750 kW oraz 18-miesięcznej praktyki morskiej, w tym 6 miesięcy na statkach ≥3000 kW
- Lub dyplom II oficera mechanika na statkach 750-3000 kW i 6-miesięczna praktyka na statkach ≥3000 kW
- Wymagane jest złożenie dokumentów do CMKE 21 dni przed egzaminem
